Electrical Estimator

Good News Electric  is a commercial electrical contractor looking for an electric estimator/engineer who will be providing estimates of material and labor  costs for project bidding purposes.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Conduct site visits for estimate requests with commercial property, property management or residential customers

Review drawings (blueprints)

Doing take-offs of materials

Using software to create quote

Maintaining relationships with suppliers and GCs

Entry Level position to start career as an electrical estimator

3+ years as electrical foreman

Journeyman’s License

Familiarity with Bluebeam

Experience with Microsoft Office

Knowledge of National Electric Code
