Your New Role

As an Electrical Install Technician with Bert Black, you’ll be in the driver’s seat of delivering quality installations with precision and professionalism. Here’s what you’ll handle daily:

• Perform installations and repairs that meet/exceed all applicable codes to eliminate callbacks.
• Mentor apprentices, helping them grow into skilled technicians.
• Follow manufacturer specs for precise installations and repairs of wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
• Track and document job specifics in Service Titan, managing parts orders, job costs, and reporting.
• Coordinate with dispatch and service teams for smooth scheduling and exceptional customer service.
• Keep your truck organized and stocked, always ready for the next job.
• Respect clients’ homes, leaving every site clean and professionally completed.

• Journeyman Electrician license or 4th-year apprentice status
• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license (insurance-approved to drive)

• Familiarity with tablets, smartphones, and GPS technology
