We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous operation of highly automated manufacturing equipment. This position is ideal for someone with strong electrical troubleshooting skills, experience with industrial controls, and a passion for keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Schedule:
Permanent Night Shift
12-hour rotating 2-2-3 schedule (14 work days in 28 days)
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Qualifications:
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience troubleshooting electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
Working knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and industrial automation systems.
Experience installing and programming Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and Variable Frequency Drives.
Ability to safely troubleshoot equipment operating on 24VDC, 120VAC, and 480VAC systems.
Comfortable using electrical diagnostic equipment including multimeters, megohm meters (meggers), clamp meters, infrared temperature scanners, tachometers, and other testing devices.
Ability to interpret electrical schematics and control drawings.
Basic computer proficiency for maintenance documentation and system interfaces.
Comfortable working at heights and operating aerial lifts when required.
Essential Duties:
Diagnose and repair industrial electrical and electronic systems to minimize equipment downtime.
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment and support modifications when necessary.
Configure, install, and maintain Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
Perform electrical troubleshooting on industrial motors, control circuits, drives, sensors, and related automation equipment.
Install electrical components, conduit, wiring, and power distribution for new and existing equipment.
Assemble, wire, and maintain industrial electrical control panels.
Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to complete repairs and installations.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
Support equipment startups, shutdowns, and commissioning activities while following established safety procedures.
Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and equipment records.
Communicate equipment concerns and recommended corrective actions with maintenance and production teams.
Assist with mechanical maintenance activities as needed.
Mentor and support less experienced maintenance personnel.
Maintain a safe, organized work environment while following OSHA and company safety standards.
Perform additional maintenance responsibilities as assigned.
Education:
Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or completion of an accredited apprenticeship program; equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered.
Compensation and Benefits:
Starting pay at $36.00/hour
Structured wage progression up to $44.00/hour based on qualifications and company-sponsored training
