Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand assembly requirements and specifications
Installation and assembly of control panels using hand tools and power tools according to product specifications
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions in machine tools and automation systems, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
Collaborate with engineering and other team members to interpret electrical schematics, diagrams and technical specifications for machine tool integration
Perform preventative maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and reliability of electrical systems
Keeping updated on machine tool field concepts, practices, and procedures
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Proven experience (minimum of 5 years) in a Machine Tool Electrician of similar role
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints accurately and effectively
Must possess own hand tools
Ability to effectively and efficiently work individually and as well in a team environment
Must have valid driver’s license
Must be willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally at 20% or less per calendar year
Frequently moves, lifts, transports, positions, and installs equipment and material greater than 10lbs
