Electrician - Foreman

Report To: Project Manager 

Primary Objective of Position:

Responsible for supervising and coordinating all electrical activities on projects, from planning and installation to maintenance and repair. With a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, excellent leadership abilities, and effective communication skills, the Electrical Foreman will guide the team to complete projects efficiently, meet deadlines, and maintain a safe working environment. 

Essential Functions:

• Plans, supervises, and performs all phases of installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of electrical systems and service work in new or remodeled facilities.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of electrical equipment installations.
• Detect needed repairs buildings, grounds, and equipment following established inspection procedures.
• Perform cost estimates and projections for electrical projects.
• Review electrical and contract specifications and performance criteria. 
• Utilize extensive electrical knowledge to troubleshoot complex issues, providing effective solutions and resolving problems promptly. 
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, promoting and enforcing safe work practices among team members. 

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent degree.
• Years experience as a Journeyman/Supervisor

Required Skills:

• Proven written and verbal communication. 
• Strong ability to interpret blueprints.
• Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage and guide a team of electricians.
