Electronic Assembler II

Essential Functions
• Able to perform the essential functions of two disciplines of Assembler (Mechanical, Electronic, or Cable) or possess skill to hand solder surface mount components.
• Perform work with high quality.
• Current on all training associated with alternate discipline (IPC 620, IPC 610).
• Be able to meet or exceed allotted labor standards.
• Be able to be flexible in daily tasks and do so with great attitude.
• Be able to communicate at a high level with new people.

Education and Experience
 

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Previous electronics experience is preferred,
  but not required. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Simple math skills needed.
• Team player who is self-motivated, with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work at a fast pace efficiently.
• Ability to learn use of hand tools, soldering irons, press equipment, and measuring equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions, and maintain accurate records.
• Basic computer skills necessary.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
