Eaton\u2019s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Electronics Tester to join our team in Glenolden, PA!\n\nThe is a 1st shift position and the core hours are 7 am - 3 pm, M-F.\n\nThe hourly rate for this position is $26.50 per hour.\n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nThe Electronics Tester is responsible for testing electro-mechanical products for compliance to Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) and customer/internal drawings.\n\nIn this role, you will: \n\u2022 Verify product compliance to Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) / drawings and maintain accurate ATP records \n\u2022 Utilize test fixtures and test equipment including oscilloscopes, function generator, device programmer, mass spectrometer, vibration table, tenney chamber, hot oil room, etc. to perform ATP. \n\u2022 Troubleshoot and diagnose common failure modes when test failures occur. \n\u2022 Inspect and diagnose PC Boards to component level (for failure analysis) \n\u2022 Works from work orders, engineering drawings, and visual/written work instructions to assemble electro- mechanical components. \n\u2022 Coordinate with Engineering group for shared resources and test validation \n\u2022 Identify and initiate continuous improvement for product safety, quality, and efficiency.\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\n\n * High School Diploma or GED equivalent from accredited institution\n * Minimum of 2 years of experience in electro-mechanical environment\n * Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. \u0027Green Card Holder\u0027), Political Asylee, or Refugee \n \n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Associates or Technical degree in Electronics or related field from an accredited institution.\n * Minimum of 2 years ofelectronic testing experience in a manufacturing environment. \n\n\n\n## Skills:\n\n * Basic understanding of pressure theory, electronic theory, and, Ohm\u2019s law and the relationship between resistance, current, and voltage. \n * When an assembly fails resistance at in process or final test the employee should be capable of diagnosing and recommending fixing, where applicable, in most cases.\n * Capable of measuring resistor components with multimeter\n * Ability to perform ATP product testing using Labview programming interface and test racks. \n * Knowledge of High and Low pressure test vessels and safety precautions when working\n * Proper use of Mil-Spec oils and gasses\n * Basic Electronics and Mechanical Theory in relation to PC Board troubleshooting \n\n\n\n## Additional Information: \n\n * Position requires use of PPE \u2013 Safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves as needed\n\n\n\n#LI-SK1\n\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
