Elementary Teacher

We are an independent PK-8 school dedicated to educating the whole child through strong relationships, academic excellence, and an engaging, student-centered learning environment. We are seeking a passionate Elementary Teacher to join our collaborative and supportive faculty team. 

Position Details:
Title: Elementary Teacher
Classification: Exempt (Salary)
Reports to: Head of School
Schedule: Full-Time; 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
Occasional evenings or weekends may be required for school events.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university


• State teacher certification required


• Proficient knowledge of curriculum and effective instructional practices


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Duties and Responsibilities: 
Under the direct supervision of the Head of School, Elementary Teachers will:

• Provide high-quality classroom instruction that meets or exceeds South Carolina state standards while maintaining a safe, structured, and positive learning environment


• Plan and deliver creative, multi-sensory lessons (kinesthetic, tactile, auditory, and visual).


• Maintain clear and professional communication with students, families, colleagues, and administrators.


• Implement discipline policies with fairness and consistency.


• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.


• Actively participate in school life, meetings, and professional development opportunities.


• Comply with all Mason Preparatory School policies and procedures as outlined in faculty, student, and employee handbooks.
