Embedded Software Engineer GNSS

This position consists primarily in performing Engineering Software Development of GPS/GNSS devices. This includes:

- Analyzing log files on problems reported by Application Engineers from customer field test or internal tests, using mainly proprietary tools.

- Performing tests to reproduce observed behavior, with either live signal or GNSS simulator.

- Develop/adapt tools (some in Matlab) to enhance analysis capabilities.

- Inspect the SW code for debugging of undesired behaviors, and modify the code to correct the behavior.

- Run tests to recreate original behavior and to ensure proper fix is implemented.

- Develop special SW features requested by customers or to improve performance.

This requires:

- Good understanding and experience of GNSS systems.

- C/C++ Experience.

- Matlab and script writing knowledge (e.g. Python) for analysis tools.

- Up to 5% travel to assist some customer in more advanced field trials.

- Good communication skills to interact with other team members.
