Emergency Department RN | Parker, AZ

Vision Quest Solutions is seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses to support Parker Indian Health Center in Parker, Arizona.

Position Overview

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting serving patients across the lifespan.

This role supports the clinical team at Parker Indian Health Center and requires strong emergency nursing judgment, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively in a rural healthcare environment.

Compensation

$50/hour

$1,246/week per diem

Schedule

12-hour shifts

Approximately 8–9 contractor shifts per week based on facility need

Responsibilities

Provide emergency nursing care to patients presenting with urgent and acute conditions.

Perform patient assessment, triage, monitoring, treatment, and reassessment.

Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and facility protocols.

Respond to emergency and high-acuity situations using appropriate clinical judgment.

Assist with stabilization, transfer, and coordination of care when higher-level services are required.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team.

Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and emergency department policies and procedures.

Provide patient and family education as appropriate.

Support continuity of care in a rural and limited-resource environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license

Current BLS

Current ACLS

Relevant Emergency Department or acute-care RN experience

Ability to meet federal/IHS credentialing and onboarding requirements

Preferred Experience

Rural or Critical Access Hospital experience

Indian Health Service, Tribal, Federal, or similar healthcare experience

Experience working in limited-resource or high-acuity environments

Housing and Travel

Government housing is not provided.

Furnished housing and extended-stay options are available in the Parker area.
