Emergency Medical Technician IL

Job Overview:

• Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls and delivers high quality patient care and customer service within the prescribed scope of practice, established protocols and company policies.

Compensation:

Hourly range: $18.06-$25.28

Education and Experience:

• High school Diploma or equivalent. Past work experience in healthcare preferred.


• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations


• Emergency Medical Technician training and certification as required by state to which assigned


• Cardiac Life Support for healthcare professional certification (CPR)


• Valid State Driver’s License


• Driving record in compliance with company safety and driving record standards


• Pre Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) Provider Certification (must obtain within 6 months of


• employment). Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, vocabulary, and word usage.

Mathematical Skills

• Possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
