Clay County Medical Center (CCMC) is seeking an experienced PRN Emergency Medicine APP to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a PA or ARNP with previous emergency department experience who values providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a close-knit rural hospital setting.

Clay County Medical Center is a growing Critical Access Hospital serving Clay Center and the surrounding communities. CCMC also operates five Rural Health Clinics, providing comprehensive healthcare services throughout the region. Our location offers the best of rural living while remaining within easy driving distance of larger communities:

35 miles from Manhattan and Kansas State University

60 miles from Salina

90 miles from Topeka

Position Highlights

PRN position with flexible scheduling

Provide emergency care to patients of all ages and acuities

Work collaboratively with an on-call physician providing backup

Practice in a modern, recently updated Critical Access Hospital

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

Current PA-C or ARNP certification/licensure

Previous Emergency Department experience

Current ACLS certification

Current PALS certification

Current ATLS certification

Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care

Pre-Employment Requirements

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of:

Post-offer physical examination

Urine drug screen

Background check
