JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active unrestricted Tennessee medical license required
• Board: BC in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or equivalent accepted board pathway
• DEA: Active DEA with Tennessee address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5 required
• Certifications: ACLS required; ATLS and PALS required for non -ABEM physicians; NRP required for non -ABEM providers
• Experience: New EM residency graduates within the last 12 months accepted
• Other Qualifications: ECFMG required for foreign graduates; case logs for the past 2 years required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide Emergency Medicine coverage in the ED
• Evaluate and treat acute and emergent conditions
• Supervise NP and PA providers
• Document patient care using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with hospital staff and specialty teams
