Support Staff Available: Physician and APP support

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Credentialing Timeline: 60 days

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active WV license, Universal License (IMLC), or WV temp license
Board: Board Certified
DEA: DEA required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages presenting with acute illnesses and injuries.
Perform initial evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of emergency conditions.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs, imaging, and EKGs.
Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges with hospitalist and specialty teams.
Document all patient encounters and clinical care accurately in the Cerner EMR system.
