Specialty Backup Available: Radiology and lab onsite; transfer for specialty care
Support Staff Available: RNs, techs

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Credentialing Timeline: 90-120 days
Temporary Privileges Available: Yes

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM), Family Medicine (ABFM), Internal Medicine (ABIM), or Surgery
Licenses: Active Ohio license, DEA
DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
Certifications: ATLS required; ACLS (if ABFM/ABIM); PALS (if non-EM)
Experience: Residency trained in EM, IM, FM, or Surgery
Other Qualifications: Flu vaccination, QuantiFERON, Epic training

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the freestanding ED.
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute medical conditions and injuries.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests including CT, X-ray, and lab studies.
Stabilize critically ill or injured patients and arrange appropriate transfers.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR.
