REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Moderate Sedation

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine

Licenses: Active, unrestricted Ohio medical license; Active DEA with Ohio address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5

DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Ohio address and Schedules 2-5

Certifications: NRP required; ACLS, PALS, ATLS required for FM/IM physicians

Experience: Residency trained in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine required

Other Qualifications: Documentation of case logs for previous 2 years; Seasonal influenza vaccine required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED.

Perform moderate sedation procedures as needed.

Supervise Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in the ED.

Manage patient flow and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure efficient care.

Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
