Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM, ABFM, ABIM, ABPS, or AOA)
Licenses: Active TN License, Active DEA with TN address
DEA / CDS: Active DEA registration with Tennessee address (Schedules 2–5)
Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS (if not BC in EM), NRP (for non-ABEM providers)
Experience: Residency trained in Emergency Medicine; new graduates accepted
Other Qualifications: Case logs from past 2 years, special procedure training documentation, Preeclampsia‑Eclampsia CME, supervising experience for APPs

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
Serve as supervising physician for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in the ED.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality patient outcomes.
Maintain compliance with all facility credentialing and privileging requirements.
Participate in continuing education and maintain required certifications (ACLS, ATLS, etc.).
