Job Overview
As a PCT in the Emergency Department, you’ll support nurses in caring for infants, children, adults, and geriatric patients experiencing real or perceived emergency conditions. You’ll assist with hygiene, mobility, vital signs, documentation, and provide calm, compassionate support — including care for patients nearing the end of life. Your steady presence and attention to detail help ensure patients receive safe, highâquality care in a dynamic, fastâmoving environment.

About the Henderson Emergency Department
The Henderson ED is a 17âbed unit with two critical care rooms, one isolation room, one mental health room, and 13 general treatment rooms. The department includes triage, a reception area, a patient/family lounge, a Hazmat/decontamination area, and a quiet room, caring for approximately 24,000 patients each year. With strong teamwork and exposure to a wide range of emergency conditions, the ED offers an excellent environment for building fastâpaced clinical skills.
