Emergency Vehicle Technician - 287 Fire

287 Fire, a division of Super Vacuum Manufacturing, is searching for a Emergency Vehicle Technician/Heavy Truck Mechanic in Haltom City, Texas. 287 Fire is the leading Rosenbauer dealer for the states of Texas and Oklahoma. Essential Skills:

• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical systems, water pumps & valves, transfer cases, suspension components, air brake systems, differentials, motors, heating/air conditioning systems, instruments & gauges, and other fire truck systems or components 
• Strong mechanical aptitude 
• Ability to learn quickly 
• Other duties as assigned 

• At least 2 years of experience in a diesel or heavy equipment maintenance shop 
• Must be able to lift 70+ pounds 
• Must be able to climb ladders 
• EVT experience and/or Heavy Truck certifications, ASE certifications preferred      
• Will consider aircraft A&P or automotive experience with licenses/certs/military experience 
• Must be willing to travel
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical agility test, and criminal background check

Compensation: $24.00 - $32.00/Hour DOE

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
