The Emmaus Community Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of maintenance, cleaning, food service, and laundry services for the Diocese of Orlando Independent Living Community for Retired Priests (Emmaus) ensuring that the residence maintains cleanliness, health and safety standards. Develops and tracks community budget, coordinates with preventative maintenance tasks, cleaning and cooking services, and related administrative tasks.

TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS
Ability to organize tasks, collaborate with other staff members where applicable, and ensure the timely completion of daily cleaning, laundry, food-related, and maintenance tasks.
LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to read and follow routine correspondence (i.e., simple directions, cooking recipe). Experience in the hospitality industry a plus. Ability to respond to common inquiries from diocesan entities and visitors. Confidentiality is essential.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, dividing, and multiplying.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift at least 15 pounds. Physical demands include balancing, carrying, crouching, feeling, fingering, grasping, hearing, kneeling, lifting, pulling, sitting, standing, stooping, talking, and walking. Also includes the ability to see items close.
