EMS / MIH Workforce Integration Specialist

The EMS / MIH Workforce Integration Specialist develops and coordinates workforce pathways across Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Mobile Integrated Health (MIH), community paramedicine, remote patient monitoring (RPM), and virtual care. This role supports credential progression, education and training partnerships, participant tracking, and implementation activities to strengthen workforce development and expand innovative models of care. The Specialist collaborates with healthcare, EMS, education, and community partners to coordinate program activities, monitor outcomes, maintain implementation evidence, and support the successful integration and sustainability of emerging workforce initiatives.

This is a grant-funded, time-limited position dependent on continued RHTP/GROW grant funding and organizational need. Future funding is not guaranteed.

Requirements:

20 hours per week - First Shift

Current Indiana EMS certification or licensure appropriate to the assigned functions.

Bachelor’s degree in EMS, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Education, or a related field.

Instructor credentials preferred for individuals responsible for education and training.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in EMS, Mobile Integrated Health (MIH), community paramedicine, workforce development, clinical education, or a related field.

Knowledge of Indiana EMS certification and credentialing pathways preferred.
