ICF is seeking an experienced electric power and energy infrastructure Analyst who has worked in a cleared environment and has an active high-level clearance to join our Security and Resilience practice on-site in Dahlgren, Virginia with occasional remote work allowed. The work encompasses a range of activities in support of the U.S. Department of Defense's analyses, policies, and guidance for mission assurance, defense critical infrastructure, and related security and resilience programs and projects.
What You Will Be Doing: - Analyzing multiple aspects of civilian and military electric power and other energy infrastructure, largely through site assessments
- Documenting analyses with high attention to detail
- Responding to quick-turn tasks as well as completing more detailed analyses
- Collaborating with teammates working on analyses of other infrastructure
What You Will Need to Have: - Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in several of the following areas: operation of electric power assets and systems; engineering, design, and planning of transmission and distribution assets and systems; electric power resource planning and analysis; power generation planning and analysis; or use of GIS software in analyses
- 3+ years of experience in a professional working environment to include recent experience in a cleared setting
- 1+ year of consulting experience
- Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required
- An active high-level security clearance (client requirement)
What We Would Like You to Have: - Experience in mission assurance, homeland security, infrastructure protection, or related safety and security policies
- DoD experience (civilian or military)
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Exceptional planning and organizational skills with an emphasis on timely completion and attention to detail
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Team player with the ability to adjust work pace to match client priorities and competing demands, especially on no-notice quick-turn needs
- Demonstrated outstanding level of professionalism in providing onsite support, including ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, tact, and diplomacy
- Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary, confidential, and government classified information
- Highly-disciplined, self-starter requiring minimal guidance
- Solid experience with the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$74,090.00 - $125,954.00
