Become Rates Senior Advisor, at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll conduct studies and analyses that affect the design of rates, pricing, and programs as applicable, while employing a complete understanding of customer needs and available alternatives. You will contribute to the development of new and existing programs, rates, and be involved in a host of agency rulemakings that impact service offerings to SCE’s various customer groups. Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or related master’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Finance, Data Science, or other equivalent fields.


• Seven or more years direct experience in drafting testimony, comments, data requests and/or testifying, etc. before the CPUC or similar regulatory agencies. 


• Demonstrated knowledge of SCE’s rules and tariff applicable to SCE’s retail electric customers.


• Knowledge of marginal cost principles, marginal cost allocation, and rate design principles as they apply to pricing programs and services for an electric utility


• Demonstrated strong ability to direct staff in the development and communication of technical data and analytics related to Pricing or Financial analysis.


• Demonstrated ability to accurately analyze information and make sound decisions that have significant business impact under minimal supervision

Additional Information

• This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
