  • Empower students to explore their identity and step into leadership roles

  • Partner with student leaders to grow participation in Shabbat, holidays, and key programs

On a day to day basis you will

  • Build genuine relationships with students—this is the heart of the role

  • Design and run engaging programs that connect students to Jewish life

  • Create community through Shabbat dinners, retreats, and cultural events

  • Collaborate with and mentor student leaders to bring ideas to life

  • Cultivate micro-communities based on shared interests and identities

  • Be a visible, trusted presence on campus

What You’ll Bring to the Job

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 0–3 years of experience or early-career professionals excited to grow

  • A passion for building relationships and community

  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

  • Creativity, initiative, and emotional intelligence

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

What You’ll Receive

  • Salary: $52,000–$57,000, based on experience

  • Benefits package including health coverage and paid time off

  • Professional development and mentorship opportunities

  • Travel opportunities, including potential trips to Israel

  • A supportive, collaborative team environment

  • Growth opportunities within Tanger Hillel and the broader Hillel International network
