The Job
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Engineering Program Manager to lead critical developmental programs within the organization. In this role, you will plan, execute, and deliver complex programs that encompass design, development, testing, and qualification. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in a highly regulated industry, experience in product development, and experience leading cross-functional teams. You must thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and bring structure and discipline to program execution. Functions
Manage assigned programs from early-stage development through testing, certification, and production
Develop and maintain program schedules, resource plans, risk registers, and financial forecasts to ensure successful project delivery
Interface directly with OEM customers to manage requirements, timelines, and changes while ensuring alignment with program objectives
Identify technical and operational risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive proactive solutions
Communicate program status, critical path items, and decision points to executive leadership and key stakeholders
Support customer engagements, ensuring expectations and deliverables are aligned
Work closely with engineering, supply chain, production, and quality teams to keep programs on track
Learn and implement best-in-class PMO practices under the guidance of senior leadership
Support programs for various business units across the organization
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or an engineering discipline.
5+ years of experience in program management or engineering within a regulated industry.
Ability to create and manage project schedules, budgets, and risk plans.
Experience with customer interactions, supplier management, and technical problem-solving.
Experience with team management, intra-departmental collaboration, subcontracts, and program reporting to senior leadership.
Driven, adaptable, and eager to grow into a senior leadership role over time.
Experience with program management tools such as MS Project or equivalent.
Preferred Skills
Experience supporting programs encompassing business jet cabin systems, in-flight entertainment, audio and video distribution, or related avionics technologies
Experience in customer-facing technical support within aerospace or a similarly regulated technical environment
Experience managing P&L, KPIs, and contract development and execution (SOWs, proposals, change memos/proposals)
