Our employees are not only part of history, they\u0027re making history.\n\nNorthrop Grumman Space Sector is hiring an Engineering Technician Level 2/3 within the Systems Engineering organization at Launch Systems located in Chandler, AZ. \n\nJob Responsibilities:\n\n * Perform Low to High, High to High and High to low classified data transfers across networks in support of program objectives\n * Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data and engineering design changes.\n * Maintain compliance with National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), the DCSA Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), and applicable site-specific processes\n * Organize and catalogue the movement of large datasets between systems\n * Support organization, decomposition, migration, and disposition of high-density technical datasets in support of the program engineering team\n * Facilitate and track the creation, revision, and approval process of security change control board (CCB) items submitted on behalf of the program\n * Support cross\u2011functional initiatives (e.g., process improvements, technology migrations)\n * Maintain auditable documentation relating to data transfer activities and security-relevant events\n * Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and propose tools or templates\n * Conduct off-hours or after-hours data transfers on an as-needed basis in support of critical program milestones\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications for Engineering Technician Level 2:\n\n * High School diploma, or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience\n * Active US DoD Secret Security clearance, or higher at the time of application\n * Demonstrated competency in desktop and publishing applications, should include the following: Microsoft 365 Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint)\n * Demonstrated competency with performing data transfer onto CD, DVD, and USB devices to/from secure systems\n * Demonstrated competency with Adobe Acrobat Suite\n * Ability to interpret requirement specifications and technical drawings\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications for Engineering Technician Level 3:\n\n * High School diploma, or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience\n * Active US DoD Secret Security clearance, or higher at the time of application\n * Demonstrated competency in desktop and publishing applications, should include the following: Microsoft 365 Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint)\n * Demonstrated competency with performing data transfer onto CD, DVD, and USB devices to/from secure systems\n * Demonstrated competency with Adobe Acrobat Suite\n * Ability to interpret requirement specifications and technical drawings\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Experience in the military aerospace development environment\n * Experience using and performing data transfers to and from the MDA CNET classified network\n * Experience working in a classified environment and appropriately marking and handling classified material\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $48,400.00 - $80,600.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $57,500.00 - $95,900.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.\n\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
