The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Department of Teaching and Learning announces a English Education Teaching Faculty position in a Wisconsin approved English education teacher certification program. This is a full-time (9 month) fixed renewable teaching academic staff position to begin August 2026. The successful candidate will teach English education certification courses that may include undergraduate, post baccalaureate, and graduate students and supervise teacher candidates in their field placements. The candidate will also lead the English Education program as Program Chair, including responsibilities such as
Collaborating with other program chairs, academic advisors and Field office
Scheduling of all program courses and filling all teaching opportunities
Hiring, onboarding, and coaching/supporting all program instructors
Advising of graduate students and post bacc. certification/graduate students

The target hiring range is $50,000-$60,000 per year (academic basis).
