  • Maintain system documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.

  • Ensure adherence to security policies, compliance requirements, and configuration standards.

  • Participate in on-call rotation, providing after-hours support for production systems and incident response.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Foundational knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly Compute Engine (GCE).

  • Basic understanding of cloud and on-prem infrastructure concepts, including virtualization and networking.

  • Familiarity with VMware environments (vSphere/vCenter) and virtual machine lifecycle management.

  • Exposure to IBM Power Systems (Power Series) and AIX environments is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of Linux operating systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, SUSE).

  • Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar) and automation concepts.

  • Ability to follow operational procedures and implement predefined technical solutions.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a production support environment.

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (applications, middleware, networking).

  • Strong attention to detail and ownership in executing assigned tasks.

  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow technical skillsets across cloud and infrastructure domains.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
  • 2–5+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure support, or cloud support roles.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure) or virtualization technologies.
  • Experience supporting Linux-based environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to VMware environments and enterprise infrastructure operations.
  • Exposure to IBM Power Systems and AIX environments.
  • Basic experience with automation or scripting (Terraform, Ansible, Bash).
  • Experience supporting hybrid (cloud + on-prem) environments.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and incident management.

Required Licensing or Certifications:

  • RHEL or Unix certifications

  • Azure, AWS, GCP certifications

  • Any technical certifications
