Job Description

• Working collaboratively with Data Sourcing Business Analyst and end users you will be key a player in digital transformation of our organization designing dynamic data environment for containing and aggregating multiple data sources in an efficient and optimized manner 


• The design of the data environment must allow for creating of data driven solutions using BI tools machine learning predicative analytics other data science techniques including AI 


• Responsibilities in the role include and not limited to Evaluates existing database set up in a business domain redesign of logical and physical data models thorough documentation 


• Studies data sources by interviewing users defining analyzing and validating data objects identifying the relationship among data objects 


• Plans data integration process by developing common definitions of sourced data designing common keys in physical data structure establishing data integration specifications examining data applications examining data models and data warehouse schema determining best fit data interchange methods assessing middleware tools for data integration transformation and routing developing project scope and specifications 


• Identifying factors that negatively impact integration forecasting resource requirements establishing delivery timetables 


• Collaborates with business teams and understand how data needs to be structured for consumption 


• Oversight and partaking in the creation of the database using the ETL Architecture Standards Designs and builds relational and NoSQL databases 


• Develops strategies for data acquisitions archive recovery and implementation of a database 


• Must be able to design develop and manipulate data warehouses and multidimensional databases data mappings 


• Requires a depth and breadth of database warehouse knowledge that shall help with formal design of relational databases and provides insight into strategic data manipulation Responsible for making sure an organization s strategic goals are optimized through the use of enterprise data standards Helps drive data governance strategy including metadata registry lineage 


• Understand database strength weaknesses tuning strategies Delivery driven works well in a global matrix organization builds relationships and gets things done 


• Able to work under pressure juggle multiple projects use own initiative and motivation to meet deadlines and set priorities without close supervision Attention to detail and accuracy are critical You will be an enthusiastic team player flexible and results driven 


• Excellent spoken and written English clear oral communication skills 


• Continuous improvement must be willing and able to express new ideas concerns and opinions directly to management and wider teams 

Required Skills 

• Knowledge and proven skills in Oracle Design Structure controls automation 


• Knowledge and proven skills in data modeling and design guidance including identification of data entities data dependencies and data relationships Knowledge and proven skills in formal design of relational databases to promote data sharing data transparency and eliminating redundancy 


• Proven strategies for data migration archiving and implementation of a database 


• Experience or familiarity with databases that support licensing and enforcement applications 


• Experience developing and publishing data architecture standards guidelines governing data services data security and privacy and data integration 


• Working experience if SAFE Agile teams
