Entry level Automotive Parts Counter and Warehouse worker

Reliable Chevrolet Springfield is seeking an Entry-Level Automotive Parts Counter and Warehouse Worker to join our team in Springfield, MO. This position offers an excellent opportunity to start a career in the automotive industry by supporting our parts department, assisting customers, organizing inventory, and maintaining a well-run warehouse. If you are detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn, we encourage you to apply. This job runs Tuesday through Saturday. 8 am to 5 pm 

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the parts counter by identifying and providing the correct automotive parts and accessories.


• Manage inventory by receiving, stocking, and organizing parts in the warehouse.


• Maintain cleanliness and order in the parts department and warehouse areas.


• Process and fulfill parts orders accurately and efficiently.


• Collaborate with team members to ensure parts are available on time for service technicians and customers.


• Perform basic warehouse duties including packing, labeling, and shipping of automotive parts.

Requirements

• No prior automotive parts experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.


• Good communication and customer service skills.


• Ability to lift and carry automotive parts as needed.


• Basic computer skills to use inventory and order-processing systems. 


• Basic Excel and CDK experience preferred.


• Reliable transportation to and from our Springfield, MO location.
