Entry-Level Express Lube Technician

Pacific Volkswagen is looking for an Entry-Level Express Lube Technician to join our service team! This is a great opportunity to start or grow your automotive career. Dealership experience is not required — candidates with experience from quick lube centers or automotive service shops are encouraged to apply. Trade school or community college coursework in automotive technology is preferred. Join our team and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Responsibilities

The Express Service Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and minor repairs, ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to the overall success of our service department.  

• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations and filter replacements.


• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunction of vehicles and perform repairs.


• Accurately document record of all repairs, services and maintenance performed on vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.


• Collaborate with service team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.


• Perform maintenance and repairs with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Hands-on automotive experience, including lube or service work in quick lube centers, retail automotive environments, service shops, or similar settings.


• Trade school or community college coursework in automotive technology preferred, with a willingness to learn and develop technical skills.


• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.


• Manufacturer certification is desired, and a degree or certificate from a trade school is preferred.

Compensation:

• The estimated hourly rate range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00.
