Environmental Project Scientist (Due Diligence & Site Assessment)

As part of our growing Indianapolis environmental team, you'll lead and deliver a variety of environmental due diligence, site investigation, compliance, and remediation projects across Indiana and the Midwest. This role is ideal for an experienced environmental professional with Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) experience who enjoys managing projects, solving complex environmental challenges, and building strong client relationships.

You'll conduct and oversee Phase I and Phase II ESAs, environmental sampling and subsurface investigations, risk evaluations, permitting, remediation support, and regulatory compliance activities. Working with commercial, industrial, transportation, institutional, manufacturing, and real estate clients, you'll analyze environmental data, prepare technical reports and proposals, and provide solutions that support redevelopment, risk management, and informed business decisions. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and a client-focused mindset, along with the ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
