Environmental safety monitor/ Air cooler Attendant

 The Environmental Safety Monitor/Air Cooler Attendant is responsible for monitoring  portable air coolers and associated equipment within the psychiatric department to promote a safe and secure environment. This position does not provide patient care, clinical services, or therapeutic interventions. The role focuses on environmental observation, equipment safety, and support tasks for unit operations 

· High school diploma or equivalent required Must be at least 18 years of age 

· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions 

· Ability to maintain professional boundaries in a behavioral health setting 

· Ability to observe surroundings and report safety concerns promptly Basic communication and organizational skills
