Join Our Award-Winning Housekeeping Team as a part-time Environmental Tech.


If you love making an impact and enriching the lives of others, this could be the perfect fit for you! At Country Manor in Sartell, MN, we are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Environmental Tech, part-time.



This position will work 44 hours per pay period, including every other weekend, and every other holiday.  


Hours: Weekdays ~ 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM


               Weekends/Holidays ~ 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM

As an Environmental Tech, you will:



  • Perform housekeeping duties such as disinfecting, dusting, mopping, cleaning mirrors, walls and floors, emptying garbage, organizing furniture, vacuuming, and other related duties. 

  • Use supplies per manufacturer guidelines and take care of cleaning equipment such as buffers, carts, vacuum cleaners, extractors, etc. 

  • Keep work areas and utility rooms neat and orderly. 

  • Report needed improvements and repairs to Director of Housekeeping and Laundry. 

  • Maintain good rapport with residents, families and visitors and refer all medical or personal care questions to the nurse in charge. 

  • Responsible for organizing and completing scheduled duties and special projects as assigned. 

  • Responsible to know and comply with facility and department safety rules. 

  • Assist with supply inventory for scheduled projects. 

  • Vacuum facility hallways.

  • Collect and dispose of all refuse from designated locations and operate trash compactor as assigned. 

  • Sweep and mop all Care Center dining rooms daily.

  • Scrub the kitchen floors daily. 

  • Carpet shampooing, buffing floors, stripping, and waxing floors as scheduled. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 



Qualifications:



  • Must be 18 years of age. 

  • Must be able and willing to assume responsibility for the sanitation and cleanliness of assigned work areas throughout the facility. 

  • Must have ability to understand and follow directions, both oral and written. 

  • Must be able to work with residents, supervisors and peers in a cooperative and helpful manner. 

  • Must have physical and mental health sufficient to perform job tasks. 

  • Must be neat in appearance and in uniform at all times including name badge. 

  • Must conform to and follow established routines, philosophy and objectives of the facility. 

  • Experience in housekeeping duties and operating housekeeping equipment preferred, but not required. 

  • Experience with floor care equipment, i.e. scrubber, extractor, wax strippers & wax. 

  • Must display a great deal of patience, consideration and tact when dealing with staff, tenants, visitors and residents. 

  • Must be able to operate trash compactor.
