Equipment Mechanic

• Repairs and maintains vehicles and small engines in accordance with operating manuals and manufacturer's specifications. 
• Performs routine preventative maintenance on physical plant vehicles, industrial and grounds equipment; such as forklifts, tractors, bobcats, lawn mowers, etc. 
• Assists in setting up and maintaining preventative maintenance schedules and data records for all equipment.
• Completes necessary paperwork for preventative maintenance tasks performed. Contact vendors for parts and prices.
• Conducts periodic inspections on equipment in operation to assure proper functioning. 
• Performs lockout tag out procedures on any unsafe equipment and reports damage to Manager. 
• Other related duties as assigned. 
   

High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 3-5 years of appropriate experience. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
