Pay: $135,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year

Location: Brevard County, Florida – This is a full-time, on-site position where you'll work closely with clients through in-person meetings and collaborate with a supportive legal team.

Note: Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Florida and have 3+ years of trust and estates experience with the ability to independently manage estate planning matters from initial consultation through final execution.

Job Description

  • Meet directly with clients to advise on comprehensive estate planning strategies.
  • Manage estate planning matters from consultation through final execution.
  • Review estate planning documents prepared by experienced paralegals.
  • Guide clients through wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, and related planning documents.
  • Provide ongoing legal advice and answer client questions throughout the planning process.
  • Handle probate matters from start to finish as needed.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure outstanding client service.
  • Mentor and oversee support staff throughout the estate planning process.
  • Participate in business development and community relationship building when opportunities arise.

Qualifications

  • Active Florida Bar license.
  • 3+ years of trust and estates experience.
  • Ability to independently handle estate planning matters from start to finish.
  • Strong client consultation and communication skills.
  • Comfortable meeting with approximately 10 to 12 clients per week.
  • Experience supervising or working closely with paralegals.
  • Probate administration experience is strongly preferred.
  • Candidates from solo practice are encouraged to apply if open to collaborative processes.
  • Trust company in-house experience may also be considered.

Salary Bands (Only if attorney role):

  • 3 to 5 years: $135,000–$150,000

  • 5 to 7 years: $150,000–$165,000

  • 7+ years: $165,000–$180,000
