Job Description
- Independently manage estate planning, probate, and trust administration files from the initial client meeting through file closure, with attorney oversight as needed.
- Meet with clients to gather information, understand their needs, and prepare estate planning documents.
- Guide personal representatives, trustees, and beneficiaries through probate and trust administration matters.
- Prepare and e-file probate pleadings and prepare and e-record required documents.
- Maintain consistent client communication, provide status updates, answer questions, and deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Support prospective clients through intake calls, engagement letters, consultation scheduling, and meetings.
- Coordinate multiple matters and deadlines while maintaining accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with attorneys and team members to keep matters moving efficiently and provide high-quality legal support.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in estate planning and probate.
- Strong understanding of estate planning, probate, and trust administration processes.
- Ability to independently manage assigned matters with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organization, time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
- Strong client service skills with a compassionate and professional approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Experience with LexisNexis, Lawgic, Simplifile, or TimeSlips is preferred.
