Job Description - Estate Planning Attorney

Pay: $135,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year

Why this is a great opportunity

  • Join a well-established, full-service law firm with over 30 years of deep roots in Bucks County — where your work will directly shape the futures of families, businesses, and nonprofits throughout the region
  • Take ownership of sophisticated estate planning matters in a firm known for its high-caliber clientele and forward-thinking approach to client service
  • Work alongside a collegial team of experienced attorneys across multiple practice areas — collaboration and mentorship are part of the culture here, not an afterthought
  • Competitive compensation with bonus potential — this firm rewards talent and performance
  • An LLM is a genuine differentiator here: if you have one, it will be recognized and valued
  • Doylestown offers a genuinely great quality of life — a charming, historic downtown with easy access to Philadelphia, without the city commute

Location: This is a full-time, on-site position based in Doylestown, PA (Bucks County). The firm is best suited for candidates already living in Bucks County or Montgomery County, PA. Candidates commuting from Center City Philadelphia may find the drive challenging long-term — we want to set you up for success from day one.

Note: Candidates must hold an active Pennsylvania Bar license and have 4+ years of estate planning law experience. These are firm requirements. Candidates from solo practice backgrounds are welcome to apply.

About us

We are a full-service Bucks County law firm with over three decades of experience serving businesses, nonprofits, families, and individuals throughout the greater Philadelphia region. Our attorneys handle a broad range of matters — from corporate transactions and M&A to litigation, employment law, real estate, and comprehensive estate and wealth planning — and we take pride in developing lasting client relationships built on responsiveness, practical counsel, and genuine investment in each client's long-term goals. Confidential Employer.

Job description

  • Counsel individual and family clients on comprehensive estate planning strategies, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives
  • Advise on tax planning considerations in the context of estate and gift transfer strategies
  • Handle estate and trust administration matters from inception through closing, including probate filings, asset inventories, beneficiary distributions, and court accountings
  • Collaborate with attorneys across the firm's corporate, real estate, and family law practices on matters with estate planning intersections
  • Build and maintain direct client relationships — you will be a trusted advisor, not just a document preparer
  • Contribute to a growing practice group with opportunities to take on increasing responsibility over time

Qualifications

  • Active Pennsylvania Bar license (required)
  • 4+ years of estate planning law experience (required)
  • Solid command of wills, trusts, estate administration, and related tax planning concepts
  • LLM in Taxation or Estate Planning (a significant plus, not required)
  • Solo practice background considered
  • Strong client communication skills and ability to manage matters independently
  • Bucks County or Montgomery County residence strongly preferred

Why you will love working here

This is a firm where you are known by name, not a number. With over 30 years in the community, the firm has built a reputation that gives its attorneys instant credibility with clients — and a book of relationships that translates into meaningful, substantive work. You will have room to grow, the support of a capable and collaborative team, and a practice setting that combines the depth of a full-service firm with the culture of a close-knit office. If you are an estate planning attorney looking to do excellent work in a place that values your expertise and your career, this is a serious opportunity.
