Location
This is an on-site role based in Irondale, Alabama, offering a collaborative office environment where estimators, operations, and leadership work closely together.
Note
This role requires at least 2 years of direct deep foundation estimating experience; general construction or estimating experience alone will not meet the minimum qualifications.

Job Description
Prepare and lead detailed estimates for deep foundation scopes including drilled shafts, driven pile, earth retention, and ground improvement.
Review drawings, specifications, geotechnical reports, and bid documents to develop accurate takeoffs and cost models.
Build production assumptions, labor, equipment, material, subcontractor, and indirect cost estimates.
Identify scope gaps, exclusions, alternates, constructability concerns, and project risks impacting pricing and execution.
Coordinate bid packages, clarifications, and proposal inputs with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
Partner closely with operations and field leadership to validate means and methods, schedules, and production expectations.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, engineers, and project partners.
Qualifications
2+ years of hands-on deep foundation estimating experience is required.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, or related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
Strong plan reading, quantity takeoff, cost development, and Excel skills.
Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office tools.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple bids and deadlines.
