Location:

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Port St. Lucie, Florida, with a Monday through Friday schedule and the chance to work closely with estimating, operations, and project leadership.

Note:

Candidates must have 3+ years of directly relevant civil site development and underground utilities estimating experience, including strong hands-on experience with AGTEK and HCSS HeavyBid.

Job Description

• Analyze construction plans, specifications, bid documents, and project requirements to develop accurate, competitive estimates.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for earthwork, underground utilities, roadway, paving, concrete, labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted scopes using AGTEK.
• Build detailed estimates and competitive bid proposals using HCSS HeavyBid.
• Solicit, review, and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Develop labor, equipment, material, and production-rate assumptions.
• Identify project risks, scope gaps, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering options.
• Maintain historical cost information, unit pricing, bid files, and estimating documentation.
• Partner with operations and project management teams during project handoff.
• Support bid strategy, project pursuits, and multiple concurrent estimating deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of heavy civil, site development, or underground utilities construction estimating experience.
• 3+ years of experience performing quantity takeoffs using AGTEK.
• 3+ years of experience preparing estimates and bid proposals using HCSS HeavyBid.
• Strong experience with earthwork, underground utilities, roadway, paving, concrete, or related civil construction scopes.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, equipment, production rates, and cost development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organization, communication, prioritization, and deadline-management skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
