Estimator

Agility Recruiting is seeking an experienced construction Sr. Estimator to join our team. Sr. Estimators prepares and manage a supporting team in providing accurate and timely estimates ranging from conceptual to detailed cost estimates. They perform cost analyses including internal and external labor cost, determine the duration of a project, procurement of material, vendors and subcontractors.

They will attend pre-bid jobsite meetings, prepare preliminary construction schedules, RFIs, RFQs, and other project documents. The Sr. Estimator performs quantity take-off and develops estimates.

The Sr. Estimator provides project management support to the Operations team and attends trade shows and other sales events. The Sr. Estimator will develop mentorship and training programs to help develop junior team members. They take ownership of their projects, implement innovative ideas, and are accountable for themselves and their supporting team on all projects assigned to them.

The Sr. Estimator must demonstrate a mastery of construction knowledge and provide mentorship to those around them.

The position also requires a clean driving record and can drive shared company vehicles to project sites.

The Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical institute degree
• 5 to 8 + years in commercial construction and estimating experience
• Advanced desktop publishing, estimating and scheduling software skills
• Experience in building envelope repairs
• Field experience (recommended)
• Must be proficient in reading, understanding and interpreting drawings and specifications
• Able to manage multiple projects at one time
• Self-directed with a high level of initiative
• Able to successfully work within a team
• Able to mentor and develop junior team members
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Committed to delivering outstanding customer service and quality work
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Requirements:

-Full on-site position

-On-screen Takeoff, Excel, WinEst, Smartsheet knowledge is a must.

Compensation

Salary: 150K-175K

Quaterly bonus after one year of employment

Company travel will have mileage reimbursment intially
