Job Description - Event & Account Coordinator

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively source, qualify, and convert leads for weddings, corporate retreats, wellness programs, and catered banquet events.

  • Conduct inspiring, highly professional on-site property tours for prospective brides, event planners, and executive decision-makers.

  • Draft precise estimates, custom catering proposals, and binding group agreements that maximize Food & Beverage (F&B) flow-through and room night yields.

  • Partner closely with Resort Operations to hand off seamless event logistics, banquet event orders (BEOs), and client specifications.

  • Stay ahead of regional hospitality trends, actively targeting drive-market corporate buyers and association planners across Northern and Southern California.

  • Manage daily sales pipelines independently with high accountability, while collaborating daily with property leadership to meet property-wide revenue targets.



QUALIFICATIONS:


To perform this job successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Minimum 2+ years of proven, consultative B2B or B2C sales experience. Hospitality, resort, wedding, or catering sales experience is strongly preferred.

  • Ability to work autonomously and independently.

  • A collaborative team member who elevates those around them and thrives as a vital contributor within an ambitious sales department.

  • Flawless executive presentation, strong verbal and written communication skills, and professional appearance.



PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:



  • Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

  • Accurately complete detailed forms and reports.

  • Calculate figures and amounts.

  • Understand and respond to a diverse population.
