Job Description - Event DJs

Special Event Proz is a fast growing, full scale event design and production company operating in the Los Angeles area. We are experiencing a period of rapid growth and have dozens of weddings, birthdays, Mitzvahs, and other events in the upcoming months and are looking for amazing DJs to add to our roster and book. We have been DJing for over 20 years and now, and we know DJing is more than just hitting play.

We ask our DJs to all complete expensive training to make sure that you know how to pick songs, mix, read the crowd, MC, and set up and break down our equipment. We provide everything you will need for the event -- a console, table, speakers, speaker stands, and microphones -- other than your personal items such as laptop, headphones, etc. We ask that you DJ Assist at a few events before booking you for your own events.

Requirements

Ability to move and lift equipment 50+ lbs

Ability to stand for long periods of timeâ

Some experience with mixing, DJing, and/or using audio equipment

Willing to complete training and DJ Assist at gigs before being booked

Extensive knowledge in many genres of music (Top 40, Decades, oldies, country, RnB, Latin, EDM, and experience with any international music is greatly appreciated)

Availability on weekends
