Givens Talent is hiring dependable and outgoing Event Servers to work weddings, corporate events, banquets, private parties, and other special events throughout the Richmond area.

This is as-needed, event-based work rather than a regular full-time or part-time position. Shifts are available based on our upcoming events and staffing needs, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to pick up extra work when events are available.

Events may take place during the week, in the evenings, or on weekends.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist with event setup, including tables, dining areas, buffets, and beverage stations


• Greet guests and provide friendly, professional service


• Serve food and beverages during catered events and functions


• Keep tables and guest areas clean and organized throughout the event


• Clear plates, glassware, and other service items


• Replenish beverages, utensils, food stations, and supplies as needed


• Assist with breakdown and cleanup at the end of the event


• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines


• Work with event captains and other team members to keep service running smoothly

What We're Looking For

• Banquet, catering, restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred


• Dependable and able to arrive on time for scheduled events


• Friendly and comfortable interacting with guests


• Able to work well in a fast-paced, team environment


• Availability for some evenings and weekends


• Reliable transportation to event locations throughout the Richmond area


• Professional appearance and attitude

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods


• Frequent bending, reaching, carrying, and lifting


• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds


• Comfortable working in busy event environments
