The Aero Services Global Commercial Leader is accountable for driving global commercial excellence, growth, and profitability across the Aero Services business. This role leads global commercial operations—including sales support, pricing strategy, competitive intelligence, and deal underwriting—while partnering closely with Pole ITR, supply chain, and fulfillment organizations to deliver disciplined, value-driven growth.
The leader operates in a constrained supply and complex market environment, balancing demand creation, pricing discipline, and execution risk to optimize long-term value. The role is responsible for strategic and tactical commercial outcomes across a ~$1B+ business today with significant growth and margin expansion targets.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Global Commercial Leadership & Strategy
- Lead a globally distributed team of commercial professionals across Americas, EMEA, and Asia
- Set and execute the global commercial strategy aligned with Aero Services growth and profitability objectives
- Drive consistent commercial operating cadence, governance, and decision-making across regions
- Own commercial processes, tools, and policy frameworks to enable scalable execution
2. Growth, Demand Creation & Market Expansion
- Develop and expand new channels and commercial pathways to drive Aero demand creation
- Identify and capture new market opportunities including emerging segments (e.g., data centers, hyperscalers)
- Balance share defense in core markets with expansion into higher-growth adjacencies
- Build a robust commercial pipeline aligned with long-range financial targets
3. Pricing, Underwriting & Commercial Discipline
- Lead global pricing strategy, competitive intelligence, and deal structuring
- Establish advanced underwriting frameworks incorporating delivery risk, cost, and capacity constraints
- Drive margin expansion through disciplined deal selection and pricing governance
- Manage portfolio trade-offs between legacy contracts and premium-priced growth opportunities
4. Commercial Operations & Process Excellence
- Standardize and optimize commercial processes across Poles to drive efficiency and consistency
- Lead proposal strategy and execution for complex, global deals
- Implement tools and analytics to improve forecasting, pipeline quality, and conversion
- Drive transformation of commercial operations to reduce risk, leakage, and inefficiencies
5. Risk Management & Execution Alignment
- Align commercial commitments with supply chain and operational realities
- Embed risk management into deal structures to mitigate margin leakage and execution losses
- Allocate constrained capacity to highest-value opportunities
- Lead cross-functional alignment across commercial, supply chain, and fulfillment organizations
6. Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global commercial organization (~35+ HC)
- Drive talent development, succession planning, and performance management
- Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, and disciplined execution
- Provide leadership on strategic priorities and cross-functional initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Engineering, Finance or Business Management from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 8 years' experience in Sales and/or associated Commercial functions (i.e. Comm Ops, Application Engineering or Contract Management, etc.)

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $232,000 and $348,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
