The Restaurant Zone is seeking an accomplished and creative Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at our upscale restaurant specializing in Japanese and Italian cuisine. This leadership role requires a visionary chef with expertise in both culinary traditions, a passion for innovation, and a commitment to exceptional quality and presentation. As Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing menu development, managing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and consistency, and inspiring a talented team of culinary professionals. This is a unique opportunity to shape a distinctive dining experience that blends the best of Japanese and Italian flavors in an elegant setting.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and design innovative menus that showcase Japanese and Italian culinary expertise.
  • Manage and oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
  • Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to achieve high performance and professional growth.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation in compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with management to manage food costs, inventory, and budgeting.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve recipes, presentation, and kitchen workflows.
  • Ensure consistency and excellence in food quality and guest satisfaction.


Requirements
  • Extensive experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in upscale restaurants with strong expertise in Japanese and Italian cuisines.
  • Creative culinary skills with a passion for menu innovation and presentation.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
  • Degree or certification in Culinary Arts is preferred.

Compensation: Salary ($165,000.00 - $190,000.00)
