Location:
Cleveland, OH. This is primarily an on-site leadership opportunity with some flexibility to work remotely when needed.

Job Description
- Lead financial strategy and fiscal operations across a complex healthcare organization
- Direct annual operating and capital budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and long-range financial planning
- Serve as a strategic financial advisor to the CFO, executive leadership, and operational and clinical leaders
- Lead monthly financial reporting, close processes, variance analysis, financial controls, audit preparation, and regulatory reporting
- Partner with department and clinical leaders on labor productivity, expense management, margin improvement, and performance improvement initiatives
- Develop service-line financial analysis, benchmarking, pro formas, ROI analysis, and business cases to support strategic decisions
- Lead capital planning and evaluate investments based on financial return, organizational priorities, and long-term strategy
- Strengthen decision support and translate complex financial information into clear, actionable recommendations for executives
- Support healthcare reimbursement, Medicare and Medicaid, cost reporting, and financial regulatory compliance
- Lead, mentor, and develop finance leaders and team members while building a high-performing, collaborative finance function
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
- 10+ years of progressive healthcare finance experience, ideally within a hospital or health system
- 5+ years of finance leadership experience, including direct leadership of managers or other leaders
- Significant experience leading or having major responsibility for large hospital operating and capital budgets
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, monthly close, variance analysis, forecasting, budgeting, financial controls, and strategic planning
- Demonstrated experience partnering with operational and clinical leaders on productivity, cost management, margin improvement, and performance initiatives
- Experience with decision support, service-line analysis, benchmarking, pro formas, ROI analysis, and business cases
- Working knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, Medicare, Medicaid, cost reporting, and healthcare financial regulations
- Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate financial insights and influence operational decisions
- Experience with healthcare decision-support, ERP, payroll, and financial systems preferred
- MBA and/or CPA preferred
