Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
Compensation: $120,000 -$130,000 per year, commensurate with experience

A private family in Austin, Texas is seeking a polished, service-minded Housekeeper | Household Hospitality Assistant to join their household. This is a role for someone who brings genuine luxury hospitality instincts to a private home setting and knows how to make a residence feel and function at a five-star standard without being asked twice. The ideal candidate is someone who takes ownership of the home's day-to-day operations, manages projects independently, and is comfortable serving as the primary point person for the property's ongoing care and presentation. A background in luxury hospitality, yacht service, or high-end private household work is strongly preferred.

The ideal candidate is warm and professional, leads their work with confidence, anticipates needs before being asked, and understands the importance of boundaries and discretion in a private home.

Responsibilities

• Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization throughout a large private residence.
• Perform daily, weekly, and deep-cleaning tasks to a luxury standard.
• Manage all household laundry, including care of fine fabrics and luxury garments.
• Oversee grocery shopping, household provisioning, and inventory management.
• Prepare the home for family arrivals, guests, and special occasions.
• Provide attentive care for the family's pets, including daily handling, transportation to appointments, and ensuring their overall well-being.
• Coordinate the day-to-day operation of the property by scheduling vendors, overseeing recurring services, tracking preventative maintenance, and ensuring projects are completed on time and to a high standard. (pool, HVAC, water systems, landscaping, etc.) are completed and documented.
• Occasional travel to a secondary residence to prepare the home ahead of family arrivals.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in luxury hospitality, private households, or yacht service.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Warm, professional, and appropriately boundaried.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of a residence, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and work with a high degree of autonomy.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US and willing to undergo a thorough background check.
• Open to relocation to Austin, Texas or local to Austin, Texas.

Compensation and Benefits

• $120,000 -$130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
