Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA)

All Smiles Dental Group located near Powers and Bloomington, is seeking an experienced Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to join our busy family practice full-time. We are a fast paced, energetic, and cohesive team led by a fantastic dentist who has been with our practice for over ten years! Schedule: Full-Time

• Mondays and Tuesdays 7:45am-5pm
• Wednesdays 7:45am-4pm
• Thursdays 8:45am-4pm
• Fridays 7:45am-2pm

Compensation: $25-$30/hr, plus monthly bonus opportunities based on performance

Responsibilities:

• Genuinely welcome patients into the practice 
• Assist the dentist chairside using 4 handed dentistry
• Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring the highest level of care and comfort are achieved
• A thorough review and update of the patient's health history
• Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies as needed for each operatory 
• Sterilization of instruments according to regulations
• Assist with stocking and ordering supplies

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of chairside Expanded Duties Dental Assistant experience
• X-Ray Certification required
• Active CPR/BLS Certification required
• EDDA and Dental Assistant Certifications are preferred
