Experience Body shop Technician

Reliable Chevrolet Springfield is seeking an experienced Body Shop Technician to join our team in Springfield, MO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive body repair and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. This role involves restoring vehicles to their original condition following collisions or damage, ensuring customer satisfaction through attention to detail and efficient repair processes. Pay will be determined by Experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, frame straightening, welding, and painting.


• Assess vehicle damage and develop repair plans in collaboration with Insurance and Service departments.


• Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete body repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards.


• Maintain a clean, organized work area consistent with safety protocols and company standards.


• Communicate effectively with teammates and management to ensure timely completion of repairs.


• Keep detailed records of repairs performed and parts used.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an auto body technician or similar role.


• Strong knowledge of body repair techniques, tools, and equipment.


• Ability to read and understand repair manuals, diagrams, and specifications.


• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.


• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.


• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
